personal info and acknowledgments

pecorina is the diy project i could not have done by myself. it's required the giving of many done so in good faith who i must acknowledge.
beginning with my dad, mum and scotty who've given the most and will never cease to do so.
my grandmother, my muse, whose generosity, glamour, grit and class are boundless, whose collection of designer belts housed next to the waterheater is one of my earliest memories.
Anette, who helped me find the courage to do big things by myself, who taught me everything about clothing from it being a saleable product to an expression of self, and whose patience allowed me to grow piles of dirty clothes in her beautiful apartment.
to uma and jensen, who saw the vision, believed in the vision, and executed the vision.
to lina and cam for being so willing and trusting me with their image.
to my baby sis, who calms my nerves, solves my problems, is always there to pick up where i've left off.
and finally to my darling georgia, with who pecorina was puked up one night in an olive grove under a shooting star. who never let me down a dark via alone.
and to anyone who's watched, paid attention, i really am so grateful. acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we live and conduct our business. We acknowledge that the Yugambeh, Minyambal and Ngaduwal peoples have had a profound connection to this country and all its neighbouring countries for millennia. We pay our respect to the elders of this country both past an present and support the growth of elders of the future both black and white so that we may all heal and share in the abundance of humanity.
We as an organisation support the telling of the truth of our history, the empowerment of First Nations people and justice for the first people of our beautiful country.
